It's a start

It's that time of year after Christmas when I have eaten to much and want to make feel better about myself.

I have excelled myself this year I now weigh 75kg, not cool and 10 of them need to go.

So far I have completed 5 days of the 31 days of yoga, har work but it does make me feel so much better.

On Tuesday we cleared out Christmas, this lead to a fairly thorough cleaning of the house, well, my OH did most of it as I got bogged down with deep cleaning the kitchen, all that needs doing there now is actually cleaning the insides of the cupboards and the oven, the oven falls on OH to do.
I think I might get the cupboards done in the next week or so.

This spurred me to make the curtains for the kitchen on Wednesday/Thursday, not my prettiest work but they're passable as far as I'm concerned.

While I had the sewing machine out I finally finished a tote bag I started making some 7 years ago.
As a treat we went out for dinner last night before our favourite restaurant closes for a month long refurbishment.

We have also returned a poster frame that we realised was broken when we got it home, when we got home instead of going straight inside I got the secateurs out and finally cut the dead flower heads off the hydrangea.
Another job done.

I would ideally like to eat healthier and go for more walks this year to enable me to lose weight but we still have a lot of goodies left from Christmas and I will not throw them out or give them away as I think being to austere will only depress and demotivate any positive changes.
